Medieval Festival rescheduled

The Medieval Festival that was to take place on May 30 – June 1 was rearranged for June 28-29. Such a decision was taken following yellow code advisories for heavy rain for this weekend, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué of the Cultural Center “Vatra”.

The preventive measure was taken in a move to avoid causing discomfort to the visitors and not to modify the specific artistic program that can be presented only in the open air. The program and activities remained unchanged. The tickets bought for the Medieval Festival can be used on the new date or can be returned to the organizers.

The Medieval Festival will be staged in Moldova for the first time. It will be hosted by the Ethnic-Cultural Complex “Vatra” that is situated at the 32nd km of the Chisinau-Ungheni road.

The Cultural Center “Vatra” launched the national project “Moldova – European Culture and Destiny” in mid-May.  The project aims to promote Moldova’s image at European level through the agency of the national artistic values and cultural management.
