The meetings of Gagauzia’s Executive Committee in September will be held in Gagauz and ‘Moldovan’, Governor Mihail Formuzal announced. He reminded that there are three official languages in Gagauzia – Gagauz, ‘Moldovan’, and Russian. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, Nadejda Col, deputy head of the Gagauz Governor and Executive Committee Administration Division, said that until now the meetings of the Executive Committee have been held in ‘Moldovan’ once in a quarter, but from September they will take place more often. The practice of holding the meetings of the Executive Committee in all the languages used in the Autonomous Unit has been implemented since 2009.
