After two companies increased the prices of dairy products on Wednesday, on Thursday all the milk processors said in a meeting that they will also raise the prices by December 15, press secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry Constantin Rotaru stated for Info-Prim Neo. It is a seasonal process. The milk grows dearer in autumn and at the start of winter and then gets cheaper at the beginning of spring, Rotaru said. About 20 milk processors took part in the meeting. They will meet next week again to discuss details. On December 8, the price of milk was increased by 0.2 lei a liter, while of butter – by 6 lei a kilogram. The sour cream and cheese also grew dearer.
