The budget-funded employees will enjoy several more nonworking days this year. The agenda of the February 6 meeting of the Government includes a draft decision whereby May 10, which falls on a Friday, and August 26, which falls on a Monday, are declared nonworking days, Info-Prim Neo reports.
However, the budget-funded employees will work on May 18 and August 17, which fall on Saturdays, instead of these days.
Thus, these employees will have four nonworking days on Low Sunday – on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (May 10-13), and on the Independence Day – on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (August 24-27).
According to the executive, these changes will help optimize the use of working hours and leisure.
