Moldova 1 adjusts broadcast schedule

The public TV channel Moldova 1 will make adjustments to its broadcast schedule, chairman of the Supervisory Board of the National Public Broadcaster “Teleradio-Moldova” Eugeniu Rybka has told Info-Prim Neo. The main change is the broadcasting of a news program in Russian at 10pm. “Thus, the news program that started at 11pm will begin one hour earlier. The changes will not affect the main news program “Mesager”, only the newscasts in Russian,” said Eugeniu Rybka. He also said that the president of “Teleradio-Moldova” Constantin Marin must submit the modified broadcast schedule by January 15, but it is not yet known when it will come into force. Moldova 1 has approved a new broadcast schedule this autumn, transferring the news program “Mesager” from 9pm to 7pm, instead of the news update in Russian. This decision aroused dissatisfaction among the Russian speakers, the subject being also discussed in Parliament.
