Moldova cannot reopen traffic through “Larga” and “Ocnița” frontier posts

Ukraine closed the border crossing points “Kelmentsy” and “Sokireany” at 7am on April 10. Therefore, the Moldovan authorities cannot reopen traffic through the frontier posts “Larga” and “Ocnița”, IPN reports, with reference to the Border Police.

The border crossing points “Ocnița – Sokireany” and “Larga – Kelmentsy” were to be reopened on April 10, starting at 8am, in accordance with an ordinance made by the Commission for Exceptional Situations.

The Border Police call on the travellers and freight carriers that plan to enter or leave Moldova through these posts to use the border crossing point “Otaci-Mogilev-Podolsk”.

In order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, the participants in the transfrontier traffic are urged to put off the trips and to follow the instructions of the competent authorities.
