The Republic of Moldova and China will mutually recognize the diplomas, certificates and academic titles issued by higher education establishments. The Government of Moldova endorsed an agreement to this effect signed by the two countries, IPN reports.

The signatories are to create an expert commission that will monitor the implementation of the provisions of this document.

The agreement was signed in Chisinau on July 3, 2018 and will be valid for a period of five years.

Moldova and China are implementing a program of exchange of scholars based on documents signed earlier.
