Moldova eliminated in European Mini-football Championship quarter finals
The Moldovan national mini-football team was eliminated in the quarter finals of the European Championship, which ended on Sunday, September 23, in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The Tricolors lost to Romania, 1-2, who went on to win the European trophy, their third in a row.
In the final, Romania bested Montenegro 2-1 thanks to goals from Costel Pantelimon and Marius Vintila.
The Czechs obtained the bronze medals after defeating Slovakia 7-6 on penalties in the small final.
This year’s edition of the European Championship brought together 16 countries.
