The state of emergency is coming to an end, as it was planned on May 15. The people return to work, the companies resume activity, but schools remain closed until the start of the new school year. The stages of gradually overcoming the state of emergency were discussed by representatives of the Democratic Party and the Party of Socialists with the Prime Minister and the Head of State, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the PDM, it is important to respect the precautionary measures after the state of emergency is lifted and business activity is resumed. The sides also discussed the organization of the Baccalaureate exams this year. A decision to this effect will be announced by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research in the middle of May.
It is also noted that the representatives of the two parties pleaded for an assessment and clear analysis of the situation in the agricultural sector and agreed that depending on the extent of the damage, the Executive will examine the possibility of providing support to farmers.
The state of emergency in Moldova was declared on March 17.
