The Moldovan Government has formally started negotiations on an agreement with Australia to mutually abolish visas for diplomatic and service passports’ holders, IPN reports.
The agreement is to be concluded for an indefinite period. Each contracting party may at any time take the decision to terminate this Agreement by means of a written notification addressed through diplomatic channels to the other contracting party.
The negotiations will be carried out through diplomatic correspondence. After signing the agreement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration will take the necessary steps to achieve the ratification of the document by the Moldovan Parliament.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the conclusion of this agreement will contribute to the development and strengthening of cooperation and friendship relations between the two states by facilitating reciprocal trips of diplomatic and service passports’ holders.
