Moldova Olympic football team suffer 5-0 defeat in Egypt
Moldova's Olympic football team, composed of under-23 players, were beaten 5-0 in an away friendly with Egypt on Wednesday, November 17, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Monsen scored twice for Egypt; Sherweda, Arafat and Afefy also found the target.
In this game, manager Serghei Chirilov tested a number of youngsters from the national premiership. Out of 18 players who traveled to Egypt, only two play abroad: Artur Ionita (Aarau, Switzerland) and Gheorghe Andronic (Gorica, Slovenia).
After the game, the coach was disappointed with the performance of some players whom he considered inviting into Moldova's national U-23 team.
