Moldova switches to winter time

Moldova will end daylight saving time (DST), also known as summer time, on Sunday early morning, October 28, by moving clocks one hour back from 4am to 3am, Info-Prim Neo reports. Researchers say the switch may cause fatigue and people need around three days to adapt themselves to the change. Experts say relaxation is the best way of overcoming this period. It is indicated that people should relax for 30 minutes before sleep. All the countries of the European community switch to winter time on the last Sunday of October, at the proposal of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. It is considered that delaying the nominal time of sunset and sunrise reduces the use of artificial light in the evening and increases it in the morning.
