Moldova will enjoy support and assistance in the implementation of culture and tourism policies. The Government approved a draft law on the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the Partially Extended Agreement on Cultural Routes.
The agreement is open to Council of Europe member states with the aim of providing political support to national, regional and local initiatives for the promotion of culture and tourism. It currently includes 36 member states.
A close collaboration in the field of tourism with various European states will open new opportunities in the field of mutual support and exchange of experience, leading to an increased competitiveness of the Moldovan tourism sector, the Government stated in a press release.
