Moldova to play Venezuela, El Salvador
The national football team of Moldova will play two friendlies with Venezuela and El Salvador in late May, as officially confirmed today by the Moldovan Football Federation, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The match with Venezuela was scheduled for May 23 and will be played in the Venezuelan city of Barquisimeto. The friendly with El Salvador was fixed for May 26 and will be held in Dallas, the United States. Moldova have never before played these teams.
Earlier this year Ion Caras' side played a friendly with Belarus, which ended in a goalless draw. On August 15, Moldova will travel to Albania for a last friendly ahead of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers. Moldova's qualifying campaign will start with a match on home ground against England on September 7.
