Moldova will offer the Philippines US$25,000 in humanitarian aid to support the population affected by the typhoon Hayan. The money will be allocated from the Government’s reserve fund, IPN reports.

The Hayan typhoon of last November was one of the most violent storms that resulted in thousands of deaths and missing persons. In several weeks of the hurricane, the UN reported at least 4,460 dead people. The Manila government provided lower figures.
