The Ministries of Culture of Moldova and China signed a cooperation agreement in Chisinau on September 6. “The Moldovan artists will take part in different concerts in China, while the Chinese people of culture will be invited to give concerts in Moldova. Only this way, will we be able to establish fruitful international cooperation relations,” Minister of Culture Boris Focsa said after the signing, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The cooperation agreement provides for the exchange of experience between artists and the organization of joint actions to protect the cultural patrimony and artistic programs, involving cultural institutions from Moldova and China. In September, a Moldovan troupe will perform in a concert in Shanghai. “This is the first action of the cooperation program,” Boris Focsa said.
Deputy Minister of Culture of China Yang Zhijin said the cooperation relations between China and Moldova are permanently developing and the signing of the agreement proves this. “This plan of action covers the entire cultural sphere. It will help to develop the libraries and theaters and to modify the artistic education system,” said Yang Zhijin.
The cooperation program will last for four years.
