Moldovan football premiership returns
After a two-week break caused by the World Cup qualifying matches, the Moldovan football championship is back on its normal course starting this weekend, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Round X of the National Division will open Saturday with two fixtures that will kick off at 16:00 – Dinamo Bender will host Zimbru Chisinau, and Olimpia Balti will play at home against Dacia Chisinau.
The rest of the Round X fixtures are scheduled for Sunday and will oppose Iskra-Stal Rybnitsa – Academia UTM Chisinau; CSCA-Rapid Ghidighici – Nistru Otaci; Sf. Gheorghe Suruceni – FC Tiraspol; and Sheriff Tiraspol – Viitorul Orhei.
The current leader in the standings is Iskra-Stal, with 21 points, followed by Dacia, with 18, and Sheriff, with 13 points.
