Moldovan judoists unsuccessful at World Judo Chamionships

After disappointing performances by the Moldovan Greco-Roman wrestlers yesterday, judoists Valeriu Duminica and Sergiu Toma lost their inaugural duels in the 81 kg category at the World Judo Championships, Info-Prim Neo reports. Duminica was defeated by Germany's Ole Bishshof and Toma lost to Russia's Sirajudin Magomedov. Stanislav Cernega (100 kg) was also defeated by Georgia's Levan Zoroliani through an ippon in just 1 minute and 8 seconds. Moldova's only remaining hope for a medal is Marcel Trudov in the 73 kg category. Four other Moldovan athletes are to compete as well. Pe lângă Trudov, pentru Moldova vor mai concura încă 4 sportivi. .
