Moldovan woman killed in Moscow metro accident will be brought home soon

The Moldovan woman who died in the Moscow metro accident on July 15 was 46 and worked in Russia. Presumably, she was going to work that morning, head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ana Taban has told IPN.

The body of the woman will be brought to Moldova when all the necessary documents are ready. The woman’s son is also in Moscow.

Three of the six Moldovans hurt in the accident were discharged from the hospital. The state of the other three is stable. A 24-year-old man suffered the most serious injuries. He has a shank fracture.

The accident occurred in the rush morning hour between the stations “Victory Park” and “Slavyansk Boulevard”. This morning, the committee of inquire announced that two employees of the state-run company “Moskovskii Metropoliten” (“Moscow Metro”) were arrested. According to the latest reports, 23 persons were killed and over 150 were injured.
