Moldovans abroad will benefit from notary services even if they do not have passports
The Moldovans who are abroad can apply for new identification papers if they were stolen or expired at Moldova’s embassies and consulates, in accordance with a bill passed by the Parliament on Thursday, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Popov said that all the embassies of Moldova have been outfitted with modern secured systems that enable to issue identification papers to the applicants.
Earlier, if the persons went to the consular office or embassy without the passport or the identity card, they could not benefit from notary services. Now the Moldovans are issued with travel permits, powers of attorney and identification papers and are able to submit inheritance and donation statements even if they do not have passports.
