The Moldovan people can get short-stay visas for Finland at the Common Visa Issuing Center housed by the Hungarian Embassy in Chisinau from October 1, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Foreign Ministry's Mass Media and Public Relations Service. Recently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration was informed that the procedures allowing Finland to joint the Common Visa Issuing Center in Chisinau were completed. Finland joined the Center following the Foreign Ministry's steps aimed at facilitating the procedure for applying for EU visas. The Common Visa Issuing Center now issues visas for Hungary, Austria, Denmark, Latvia, Slovenia, Estonia, Sweden, Iceland, and Luxemburg. Early next year, the Center will be joined by Belgium, Switzerland and Greece. Talks are being carried out with Croatia and Slovakia.
