The Moldovan citizens who decided to stay and work in Spain will have the opportunity to convert their driving licenses issued in the Republic of Moldova. Spaniards residing in Moldova will have the same possibility. The Cabinet on Wednesday approved the ratification of the agreement between the two states on the mutual recognition and conversion of national driving licenses, IPN reports.

Minister of the Interior Adrian Efros said that the Government continues to provide support to the Moldovan diaspora by facilitating access to various services.

The agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the Kingdom of Spain on the mutual recognition and conversion of national driving licences was signed in Chisinau on April 18, 2024.
