Moldova’s Independence Day to be celebrated in St. Petersburg

The 30th anniversary of Moldova’s Independence will be also celebrated in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg. The festivity will take place on August 27 at the Tauride Palace, which is also home to the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States, IPN reports.

Ion Lipciu, Moldova’s permanent representative to the Interparliamentary Assembly, has told IPN that the event will include folk music performances and a presentation of our national cuisite. There will also be photography and painting exhibitions by Moldovan artists, as well a display of Moldovan traditional carpets and costumes.

The event will start at 4:00PM and will culminate with a reception to be attended by over 300 guests.
