Moldtelecom diminishes size of bills

National telecoms carrier Moldtelecom SA started to print bills on smaller A6 pieces of paper – 10.5 x 14.8 cm. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the company’s press office said the move is aimed as saving paper. ”This way, the national telecoms carrier supports the international communities in their efforts to protect the nature and contribute to saving forests worldwide by optimizing the use of paper,” has said Moldtelecom SA. In order to save tonnes of paper annually, there were developed a number of online services for managing the fixed-line and mobile phone, Internet and digital television bills. Payments for Moldtelecom’s services can be made both at the company’s representative offices and at most of the banks without presenting the bill, the carrier said in a note sent to the Agency. ”For the clients who do not have access to the Internet, Moldtelecom preserved the bill that is now printed in a smaller format. The address and account of the subscriber, the sum that must be paid, the telephone and the payment deadline are printed more distinctly,” the company’s press office has said.
