The National Bank of Moldova is launching a design competition for anniversary and commemorative coins to be issued in 2024 and 2025, with a monetary prize of 15,000 lei promised to the winner. Also, the name of the winner will be published on the official NBM website and included in the certificates of authenticity that accompany the commemorative coin. Designs can be submitted until April 22.

Individuals who have reached the age of 18, as well as legal entities, can participate in the competition. The number of projects presented by a participant for a theme is not limited, but not less than two conceptually different projects per the selected theme. Participants are required to comply with copyright and related legislation.

The basic criteria for the selection of the presented projects include originality, creativity, aesthetics and the coherence of the design elements, so that it is possible to execute them on the surface of the coins.
