Creating a friendly environment for all the entrepreneurs and investors, by eliminating bureaucracy and supporting the creation of a favorable business climate, is one of the priorities included in the National Economic Development Strategy 2030. The document, approved by the Cabinet, guide the Republic of Moldova towards a prosperous economy for the citizens, stimulating innovation and creating an environment as optimal as possible for business development.

According to Minister Dumitru Alaiba, the document provides for the redefinition of the national policy in the field of economic development in order to streamline the use of existing resources and opportunities in the context of the accession to the EU, in order to achieve faster, more inclusive and sustainable economic growth, IPN reports.

The Ministry aims to develop the service sector, with a focus on high-value services such as IT, consulting, and tourism. It also provides for the stimulation of the innovative industry, which could contribute to increasing Moldova’s competitiveness internationally and creating well-paid jobs.

The strategy is also designed to develop a state with a strong and green economy and also digitalization.
