The national fencing team of Moldova will take part in the International Seniors Fencing Tournament that is taking place in Germany’s Heidenheim on January 10-14, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a communiqué, the Ministry of Youth and Sport says that the fencing squad consists of Serghei Petrushenko and Boris Paghiev. They are accompanied by coach Mihail Paghiev. The transport, accommodation and other related costs, estimated by the Fencing Federation of Moldova at 17,000 lei, will be covered by the Ministry. Starting with 2013, the Ministry of Youth and Sport will cooperate with the national federations on a contract basis in all the fields of sport. The standard contracts can be downloaded from the Ministry’s website http://mts.gov.md/documente. In January, the Ministry will cover only the cost of major sporting events that were included in the draft calendar of sporting activities for 2013.
