National Library hosts painting workshops

Painting workshops for children and adults who are passionate about arts will be held on August 20-24 at the National Library. They will be conducted during the second stage of the Cezara Kolesnik Summer School, IPN reports.

According to a press release from the National Library, following inspiration from French artist Claude Monet, participants will experiment and create a canvas painting in oil and acrylic. Consequently, participants’ works will be exhibited in the National Library Arts and Maps Collection.

The first stage of the Summer School took place on August 6-10, 2018, in Cornești, Ungheni district, organized in cooperation with Ion and Doina Aldea-Teodorovici Art School.

The project is part of the “Diaspora Engagement Hub” Governmental Grant Program, implemented by the State Chancellery, via the Diaspora Relations Bureau.
