The National Library of the Republic of Moldova staged an exhibition on the occasion of the Independence Day and the Romanian Language Day. On the eve of the Independence Day, the institution renders homage to those who worked with abnegation to promote the national ideals and liberty through an exhibition titled “Knowing the past, we write the future”, IPN reports.
National Library director general Elena Pintilei said the Library every time rendered homage to the two traditional holidays, emphasizing what this country has most valuable – the written national heritage that shows who we are, where we come from and what our real genesis is.
The exhibition consists of about 120 heritage documents about the history, science and culture of Moldova from the National Library’s stock. It can be visited starting with August 26 by obeying the norms and measures to protect against COVID-19.
