The National Police of the Republic of Moldova celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the founding. “This day is of symbolical value for all those who form part of the large family of the Police of the Republic of Moldova and the whole society in whose service we work day by day, hour by hour, with devotion and dedication, often against time,” says a message issued by the General Police Inspectorate, which is quoted by PN.
According to the Inspectorate, during 33 years the police worked with honor, devotion, responsibility, correctness, guarantee and humanity.
"Respect and gratitude, colleagues, for choosing to serve the country and the people, for the professionalism and dedication you show permanently. What you achieved so far is the merit of each of you – those who daily risk your life in provocative missions, leaving your families at home,” runs the message.
The law on the police was adopted by Moldova's Parliament on December 18, 1990.
