The prosecutor’s offices of the districts of Cimișlia, Căușeni, Rezina, Comrat, Vulcănești and Ceadîr-Lunga as from July 1 will have acting heads. By an order signed by Prosecutor General Alexandr Stoianoglo, the posts of chiefs of the local prosecutor’s offices will be held on an interim basis by prosecutors Ruslan Caraivan, Sergiu Mocanu, Nicolae Burduja, Eduard Velicov, Alexandr Selemet and Roman Colodeev. The announcement was published on the official website of the Prosecutor General’s Office, IPN reports.
Ruslan Caraivan, deputy chief prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of ATU Găgăuzia and head of the Comrat office, will serve as acting chief prosecutor of the Cimișlia Prosecutor’s Office instead of Sergiu Mocanu, who will head the Căușeni Prosecutor’s Office on an interim basis.
Deputy chief prosecutor of the Telenești Prosecutor’s Office Nicolae Burduja was named acting chief prosecutor of the Rezina Prosecutor’s Office after the chief of this subdivision Piotr Botnaru left the prosecution service.
Prosecutor Eduard Velicov will serve as acting deputy chief prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of ATU Găgăuzia and head of the Comrat office, Alexandr Selemet – as acting deputy chief prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of ATU Găgăuzia and head of the Vulcănești office, while Roman Colodeev – as acting deputy chief prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of ATU Găgăuzia and head of the Ceadîr-Lunga office.
The posts will be held on an interim basis until they are filled by contests, in accordance with the law.
