The Government Wednesday approved a draft presidential decree by which Ala Beleavschi is to be named Ambassador to Canada. By another decision, Emilian Brenici is appointed as Ambassador to the Netherlands, IPN reports.
Foreign Minister Natalia Gherman said that both of the persons have worked in the diplomatic service for over 20 years and have the necessary knowledge and experience to hold the new posts.
Also, the director of the Public Procurement Agency Stefan Greanga was named as Deputy Minister of Finance, while Victor Zubcu as Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Construction.
Oleg Cara was dismissed from the post of deputy head of the National Bureau of Statistics based on his resignation.
