A new local mayoral election will take place in Clocușna village of Ocnița district on November 17. A decision to this effect was taken on Friday by the Central Election Commission, IPN reports.

The post of mayor became vacant as a result of the mayor’s death.

On November 17, new local mayoral elections will also be held in Căușeni town of Căușeni district, Iliciovca commune of Florești district, Boșcana commune of Criuleni district, Arionești village of Donduseni district and Antonești commune of Cantemir district.
