Moldova’s Post Office said the Chisinau post office MD-2012 on January 5 will put into circulation a series of postage stamps called “Month of year in popular tradition”, IPN reports.

The postage stamps “Gerar”, “Faurar” and “Martsishor” – popular names for the months of January, February and March – will have the nominal value of 5.75 lei and an issue of 64 200 copies.

The design was thought up by Lilian Yatsko. There will also be issued 400 envelopes that on the first day will be sold for 36 lei apiece.
