Nine Moldovans hurt in road accident in Ukraine, Update

Eleven persons, nine of whom Moldovan citizens, have been injured in a road accident that happened this morning near the Ukrainian village Kalinovka, Interfax reports on its website, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. The Mercedes Sprinter minibus in which the Moldovans were traveling collided with a truck. The accident is blamed on the driver of the minibus, who is native of Hancesti district. According to the Ukrainian Service for Emergencies, the injured persons were taken to the regional hospital in Makarovsk. [Update] Three of the Moldovans are in a serious condition and undergo intensive therapy, while another one has a cranial fracture, consultant of the Foreign Ministry's Mass Media Division Iurie Vition stated for Info-Prim Neo. “The relatives contacted the Embassy of Moldova in Ukraine. A part of the relatives and two employees of the Embassy are going to that town,” Iurie Vition added. The license plate of the minibus involved in the accident is K AA 654.
