The future Chisinau councilor on behalf of the Communist Party Victor Gurau said that no Communist lawmaker will vote for the candidate for the presidency of the Alliance for European Integration (AEI), Info-Prim Neo reports. “I can assure you that neither three nor two or one Communist MP will vote for the Alliance’s presidential candidate. I know the situation from inside and can say that the current team is different from that of 2005,” Victor Gurau said in the program “Replica” on Prime TV channel. He stressed that the AEI no longer exists de facto. “The leaders of the Alliance play their own games and want to bury the AEI as for some of them it is already a kind of ballast. Each of them wants to negotiate with the Communist Party and reach a compromise,” said Victor Gurau. Victor Gurau’s statements come after the leader of the Democratic Action Party Mihai Godea said there are three Communist lawmakers who are ready to vote for the AEI’s candidate for the presidency and invited the leaders of the Alliance to negotiations on October 3.
