An unidentified man died on Monday after hit by a train at the Floreni railway gate near Chisinau at about 14.30. Doctor coordinator of the Chisinau Emergency Hospital Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo that the man was in his 60s. When the ambulance arrived, he was already dead. The accident happened one day after another unidentified man aged 60-70 threw himself in front of the Chisinau – Saint-Petersburg train on the Ghidighici-Chisinau railway segment. The man was taken to the Emergency Hospital with serious bodily injuries. Doctors from the reanimation section told IPN that the patient is in a critical condition, but has chances to survive. The body of a 31-year-old man from Soroca was found near the beach of a lake on Calea Iesilor Street. The cause of death is yet to be established. Supposedly, he died after taking an overdose as he had a fresh sign of intravenous injection. A number of 667 persons sought emergency medical assistance on Monday and on Tuesday night.
