The legislative body on October 18 voted in favor of abolishing the visa regime between Moldova and Chile. According to Deputy Minister of Justice Nicoale Esanu, the citizens of the two countries will be able to freely cross the border, but will have the right to stay in the other country for 90 days within six months, IPN reports.

The travelers will have to possess a biometric passport.

The bill was passed in the first and second readings by the votes of the parliamentary majority.
