The functioning of public administration institutions and authorities in Moldova will be regulated by the Administrative Code. The relevant initiative of a number of MPs was passed by Parliament in the first reading by a majority of votes on July 6, IPN reports.
According to the Parliament’s press service, the new Code will regulate the issuing of administrative documents by the public authorities and mechanisms for dealing with petitions filed by people and will include all the legislative acts that now define the legal administrative law relations.
The draft Administrative Code consists of three books that refer to the standardization of legal solutions, regulation of legal situations reported by the administrative authorities and simplification of the activity of the public administration by ensuring the coherence and predictability of administrative procedures and their stability.
The first book specifies the administrative procedure terms and institutions and regulates the principles of administrative procedure. The second book defines the status of the participants in administrative procedure, the legal regime of competition, etc. The third book describes the procedures for submitting and dealing with administrative claims in courts of law.
The bill is to be debated and adopted in the final reading.
