Minister of Education Maia Sandu made an order stipulating that the participation of students in agricultural works is banned, IPN reports.

The national and international normative documents provide for the protection of children from economic exploitation and ban their involvement in any work that involves risks or can affect their state of health or physical, mental, spiritual, moral or social development.

The order will be made known to all the managers of education institutions, the local public authorities and economic entities as well as to the students and parents.
