The Central Election Commission warns the political parties about the necessity of presenting also financial management reports for 2022 until March 31. The reports can be submitted in electronic form, through the Financial Control system, and also on paper, IPN reports.
The political parties whose annual incomes or costs exceed 1 million lei are obliged to conduct an audit of the financial management report at least once in three years. The audit report, together with the annual financial management report of the political party, needs to be submitted to the CEC or, if the political party benefited from state budget allocations, to the Court of Auditors.
The non-presentation of the report and its presentation in incomplete form represent violations of the legal provisions and imply punishment, warned the Commission.
