A 64-year-old man was taken to the hospital with brain injury after a minibus No. 129 on which he was traveling crashed into a car at the intersection of the streets Bucuresti and Mihai Eminescu in the morning of January 21.
Antonina Talpa, inspector of the PR Service of the Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that traffic at that intersection is controlled by stoplights. The police are questioning the drivers to see which of them passed at the red lights. It is not yet known how many passengers were there in the minibus. When the traffic police arrived on the scene, the minibus was empty.
A number of persons wrote on a social networking site that the accident hampered movement and they had to walk along Bucuresti St for over 20 minutes.
