The great number of applications for IDs and passports determined the state company Registru to extend its working hours. Beginning June 22 until September 1, the centers for people’s documentation and record will be opened between 7.00 and 21.00, Info-Prim Neo reports. At these offices, citizens can submit requests for Moldovan passports, including biometric ones, identity cards and other documents and certificates issued by Registru. During May 1- June 15, the number of applicants increased by over 42,000 from the same period last year.
