The persons who will be detected with cancer for the first time will have the first high-performance test for initiating treatment faster. It goes to computerized tomography and magnetic resonance imaging scans. “The CNAM is making all the efforts for the patients diagnosed with cancer to swifter have access to the first computerized tomography and magnetic resonance imaging scans so that they could faster start treatment. We will ask for a separate report on the volume of high-performance testing provided for these patients. We will also determine how much the waiting time for such testing decreases,” CNAM director general Ion Dodon stated in an event that involved representatives of the Oncological Institute and medical service providers.
