“No one intends to close hospitals now,” Prime Minister Pavel Filip said in the July 19 meeting of the Cabinet, refuting the speculations about the hospital reform. He instructed the Ministry of Health to more efficiently inform the population about this reform, IPN reports.
Pavel Filip reiterated the importance of doing the three reforms, in the public health, primary healthcare and hospital systems, so that better medical services are provided for the population.
“Each reform is aimed at ensuring services of a high quality. We have a lot of “friends” who are trying to interpret the wok of the Government. The reforms are not liked by chiefs who manage some units and will lose their seats, but they will be liked by the people,” stated Pavel Filip.
