The cultural and historical facilities of the Republic of Moldova must be put to good use. Their infrastructure should be modernized and conditions should be created for attracting tourists. The utilization of the rural tourism heritage will have a positive impact on the national economy and will beneficially contribute to promoting the country’s image abroad, Prime Minister Pavel Filip said during a working visit to Rezina district, IPN reports.
According to the Government’s press office, Pavel Filip underlined the necessity of repairing and promoting the facilities that hold interest for tourists and spoke about the development of the connected infrastructure and the creation of conditions needed for the number of national and foreign tourists to increase.
The Premier visited the Saharna Monastery and the Business Incubator in Rezina, where the 14 resident companies generate and maintain jobs for the local community. Pavel Filip also discussed the necessity of extending the infrastructure for the business sector with the administration of the business incubator and of the district, noting it is important to create as many jobs for the people as possible and to offer them the possibility of having a decent salary at home.
During his working visit to Rezina district, the Premier also visited the building site at the district sports complex in Rezina town, which will have an initial capacity of 2,500 places, and the road under construction that bypasses the town, in the valley between Ciorna village and Rezina town.
