The Communist Party will negotiate not with the Alliance for European Integration (AEI), but with every member party separately, the party’s leader Vladimir Voronin announced after the PCRM’s plenary meeting that lasted for about three hours, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“We accept the proposal to negotiate, but not with the alliance because it does not exist for us. There are parliamentary parties and we will discuss with them,” Vladimir Voronin told the reporters.
He also said that the ruling alliance’s candidate for the presidency Marian Lupu will never exist for the PCRM. “We have only one candidate − Zinaida Greceanyi,” said the Communist leader.
MP Mark Tkachuk also told the press that the PCRM will negotiate with the parties of the AEI. “We will discuss with each party separately, not the kolkhoz as the persons from the AEI showed they are not partners. They do not have a common view on the country’s future,” said the Communist lawmaker.
The AEI Friday announced its intention to initiate talks with the PCRM in order to identity a solution to the political crisis.
