A 56-year-old man lost his life in a car accident on the Chisinau-Reni route on Thursday, October 22. The man, who was an inhabitant of Carapetovca village of Basarabeasca district was struck by a car driven by a 27-year-old man, spokesman for the General Police Commissariat Tudor Capatana has told Info-Prim Neo. Seven persons, four of whom pedestrians, were injured in traffic accidents in the municipality of Chisinau on Thursday. They included a 11-year-old boy and a man aged 74. A cyclist was hit by a car on Decebal Blvd., while a motor bicycler was struck at the intersection of Decebal and Dacia Boulevards. A minibus passenger was injured in a collision between a car and the minibus in Bacioi commune. The 11 road accidents that happened in Moldova on October 22 resulted in one death and ten persons injured.
