The National House of Social Insurance said the pensions and benefits intended for families with children are paid monthly according to plan and no payment is overdue. The House reacted after the media reported that the pensions and benefits are overdue, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the House, the money for distributing the benefits to families with children was transferred on November 16, while the last cash transfer for paying social insurance pensions, for November, was made on November 18. A sum off 11.1 billion lei was transferred for paying social welfare in January – November 2015.
The pensions and benefits intended for families with children can be collected on the set date from the chosen payment service provider, either the state-run company “Moldova’s Post Office” or one of the eligible banks. The recipients who could not take the pension or benefit for personal reasons this month can collect it next month.
Those who are entitled to social welfare set through the agency of the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Defense, the Security and Intelligence Service and other law enforcement institutions are not served by the National House of Social Insurance.
