Most of the electors who cast their votes at polling place No. 201 in Posta Veche quarter before noon said they voted for a better future for the children, decent living conditions and a candidate who will build European roads in Chisinau. They said the future mayor must be supported by a team so as to be able to put the plans into practice, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I want the situation to improve so that we have a better life, better salaries and healthy children. I voted for the man who deserves being mayor and I expect changes,” said voter Lucia Diaconu. “Everyone votes in the hope that the person who they sympathize will implement the expected changes. I knew who I will vote for from the very beginning. I choose the persons who have experience. It is important that the future mayor has studies in the field,” said elector Ion Gafton. The voters also consider that the future mayor should know the problems faced by the Chisinau residents and needs the support of a team. “You cannot play football alone. You must have a team,” said a voter who refused to tell his name. Some of the electors said they voted for the least evil, but would have voted differently if there had been the option “Against All”. “The candidates promise many things, but do nothing,” a voter said angrily. The polling places work until 21.00.
